From our soil to your table — locally grown produce, handcrafted pantry staples, and goods made with intention right here in northwestern Wisconsin.
Rural Farmstead started as a simple idea: if you're going to sell food and goods, they should come from real places, made by real people you can look in the eye. That's why everything on our shelves has a name behind it — the farmer who grew it, the maker who crafted it, the reason it matters.
We're not a chain. We're not a warehouse with a country sign. We're your neighbors on 2nd Avenue, and we'd rather you know exactly where your honey came from than trust a label to tell you.
Every product we stock is something we'd put on our own table. Seasonal produce, pantry essentials, and handmade goods — all within walking distance of home.
Seasonal
Vegetables, herbs, and fruit pulled from the ground the same morning they hit our shelves. Sweet corn in July, squash in September, root vegetables all winter long.
Pantry
Raw honey from area beekeepers, small-batch jams, pickled vegetables, and artisan breads — the kind of things that make weeknight dinners feel special.
Handmade
Candles, soaps, woven baskets, and pottery from Wisconsin makers. Each piece carries the story of the person who made it — and the intention behind it.
Dairy
Whole milk, cream, pasture-raised eggs, and cheeses from neighboring dairy farms. The kind of dairy that tastes like it should.
We believe a community store should do more than move product — it should strengthen the bonds between the people who grow, make, and share what sustains us.
Every supplier within our doors is from this part of Wisconsin. We know our farmers by name, and we visit their land to make sure the standards match ours.
We turn down products that feel mass-produced or careless. If it doesn't carry the maker's pride, it doesn't earn a spot on our shelf.
We sponsor the little league, donate to the food shelf, and keep our doors open for school groups. A business is only as good as the community it serves.
We let the calendar guide the shelves. Spring brings greens, summer brings berries, fall brings preservation supplies, and winter brings warmth from the pantry.
From harvest mornings to holiday markets, here's a glimpse of what makes Rural Farmstead feel like home.
